About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure goods and services are procured efficiently, value for money is achieved, and all processes comply with legislative and Council policies. This role works closely with internal teams and suppliers to run tenders, manage contracts, and support ethical, transparent procurement practices that deliver strong outcomes for the community.

About You
- 2 years' experience in a Procurement, Contract Management and/or Contracts role or similar (or equivalent experience).
- Certificate IV in Procurement or Contract Management (or equivalent).
- Extensive knowledge of procurement, tendering, contracts and contract management.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in negotiation and consulting internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of eProcurement systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate time management skills.
- Demonstrated high-level experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C).
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training.
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
This role requires a satisfactory National Police History Criminal Check prior to commencing.
The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3,246.40 - $3,443.90 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $84,406.40 - $89,541.40 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
