Registered Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic, fun, and professional Registered Nurse to join our growing and dynamic team on a Full Time basis. You will be highly motivated, friendly and willing to work within a team or autonomously. You will have proven high-quality patient care, be passionate about GP Clinical care and committed to delivering excellent clinical care and patient education.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years nursing experience in General Practice
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable and open to change and innovation
• Current CPR certificate
• Previous experience in General Practice
• Knowledge of childhood and adult immunisations
• Experience in chronic disease management
• Computer skills (experience with Best Practice is highly desirable)
• Ability to multi-task and manage workflow in a treatment room

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Patient triage and management
• Administer immunisations and other injections
• Perform ECGs, spirometry, and ear syringing
• Conduct wound management procedures and assist GPs during minor surgeries
• Develop care plans, conduct health assessments, and support patients with chronic illnesses
• Infection control and sterilisation process
• Providing patient education and support
• Support reception staff as needed and more
