Account Manager | Diabetes

Join a global medical technology organisation dedicated to empowering people living with diabetes through innovative insulin management systems. With a strong international presence and a rapidly expanding footprint in Australia, they are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their NSW team.
This is a newly created position, with flexibility for the territory to be shaped around your location.
Working closely with a highly experienced clinical specialist, you'll play a key role in driving therapy adoption, strengthening relationships with Diabetes Educators and Endocrinologists, and supporting patients as they begin their pump therapy journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales revenue, account activation and targets across your territory.
- Execute national marketing initiatives and contribute insights to support territory planning and business strategy.
- Ensure accurate, timely updates within the CRM, and assist with ensuring products are delivered and supported compliantly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Deliver high-quality training to clinicians, including supporting Diabetes Educators to become pump trainers, and providing ongoing education as needed.
What you will bring
- Previous sales experience in Medical Devices
- Sales experience representing a T1 Diabetes portfolio, or deep understanding of Type 1 Diabetes and pump therapy is essential
- Strong relationship-building capability and confidence working with both clinicians and patients.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with clinical specialists, sales colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train, educate and support customers at varying knowledge levels.
