You’ll work with a diverse client portfolio from start-ups, family groups and SMEs to international clients and enjoy the autonomy to manage your team and clients your way.

Some responsibilities include

• Managing a fee base of approximately $1M
• Overseeing a team of 5 accountants consisting of Seniors, Intermediates and Graduates
• Preparation and review of income tax returns for all entities and all other compliance requirements
• Finalising complex financial accounts
• Preparation and analysis of management reports
• Provision of advice on issues such as FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, PSI, tax planning and restructuring advice
• Train, mentor and delegate to team members
• Setting and monitoring KPIs, WIP, productivity, budgets and deadlines
• Providing support to Principal in relation to client management and achieving team objectives

Applicants

• Experience working in a Manager or Senior Manager capacity in Business Services/Tax
• Approximately 6+ years’ experience in public practice
• CA/CPA qualified
• Strong technical understanding of SME matters and able to advise on related issues
• Demonstrated experience managing own clients and a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solutions-oriented mindset and able to articulate information of varying complexities to stakeholders effectively
