An exciting opportunity has become available for a BIM Coordinator to join a leading Tier 1 engineering consultancy in Perth CBD. Working as part of a highly regarded multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in the delivery of major healthcare, airport, and commercial developments across Western Australia and nationally.

This position is ideally suited to a Mechanical Building Services professional with strong BIM coordination experience who is looking to take ownership of project delivery and work within a collaborative, technically focused environment.

The Role

As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing BIM deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring design teams work efficiently and project standards are maintained throughout the design process.

Key responsibilities include

• Coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary project teams
• Managing model federation, clash detection, and design coordination activities
• Supporting project teams in the development and implementation of BIM execution plans
• Maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and quality assurance procedures
• Collaborating closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Structural, and Architectural disciplines
• Managing and coordinating project information within BIM 360
• Providing technical guidance and support to project stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• 7–8 years' experience in BIM Coordination within the building services or construction sector (candidates with 5+ years' experience will also be considered)
• A Mechanical Building Services background is highly desirable
• Strong proficiency with Revit and BIM 360
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary building projects
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and project delivery processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes
