The opportunity

The Lead Safety, People & Culture Business Partner is a pivotal role supporting leaders across all HR and WHS matters. You will be part of the broader corporate team and act as the point of escalation for managers, providing performance management, proactive guidance and practical action around workforce, wellbeing and organisational culture. This role offers broad scope across the employee lifecycle and the opportunity to further shape the function. This is an excellent time to contribute meaningful, lasting impact.

Key responsibilities include

  • Provide high-quality operational and action-orientated support to frontline leaders across performance, ER, Award interpretation and people practices
  • Own safety, wellbeing and injury management matters, including workers compensation and return-to-work processes
  • Monitor people data and trends to identify risks and drive wellbeing and culture improvements
  • Own HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, records management and compliance
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning and capability uplift
  • Refine HR/WHS policies, systems and documentation, ensuring alignment with legislation

About you

You are an experienced People & Culture generalist with strong HR delivery experience and a solid understanding of WHS, safety and wellbeing. You thrive in environments where you can work autonomously, collaborate closely with leaders and build trusted relationships across the organisation.
