  • Monitor and report capital expenditure (CapEx) against budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure accurate capitalisation of project costs in line with accounting standards
  • Maintain project cost structures, WBS, and financial tracking systems
  • Prepare monthly journals, accruals, reconciliations, and project reporting packs
  • Deliver variance analysis and insights on project performance and risks
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term capital planning
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations teams
  • Review contractor claims, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
  • Support project audits, governance, and compliance requirements
  • Manage WIP, capital commitments, and fixed asset processes

Profile

  • CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with a degree in Accounting/Commerce
  • Background in Big 4 or mid-tier (first movers strongly encouraged)
  • Exposure to project accounting, audit, or advisory advantageous
  • Strong understanding of capitalisation, fixed assets, and project lifecycle accounting
  • Advanced Excel and analytical capability
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially curious mindset
