- $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
- 5 weeks annual leave

About the role
Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC) is the lead economic and tourism development agency for the Central Highlands, Queensland.
The Operations Support Officer is responsible for assisting CHDC coordinators with their projects to contribute to our professional presence and effective program delivery.
This role supports office presentation, manages stakeholder information, supports events and engagement activities, and provides project and administrative support to the CHDC team.
Key Accountabilities
- Office Presentation & Team Support. Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming office environment while supporting day-to-day team operations, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement of processes.
- Stakeholder & Contact Management. Support the maintenance and management of stakeholder databases and communications, ensuring accurate, current and accessible records.
- Event & Engagement Support. Assist in the planning and delivery of events, managing logistics, communications, materials and on-the-day coordination to a high professional standard.
- Project & Operational Support. Provide reliable administrative and project support, including scheduling, documentation, reporting and coordination of event and project activities.
- Workplace Culture & Collaboration. Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture while building strong relationships and representing the organisation with professionalism and integrity.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant or transferable qualifications or experience in business administration, events, communications or a related field.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality administrative support across a range of tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing professional materials and documentation.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data management and event coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; collaborative team player and strong customer service focus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Current driver’s licence (mandatory).
