Details: An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced property managerto join Infrastructure Canberra. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the effective management and maintenance of aquatic facilities across the ACT Government portfolio.

Working within a dynamic infrastructure environment, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and oversight of aquatics assets, ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose for the community. You will engage with contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders, applying sound judgement to achieve high-quality maintenance and operational outcomes.

You will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex service delivery environment. This position offers meaningful work that directly contributes to community wellbeing and the sustainable management of public assets.

Eligibility/Other requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience in property asset management for commercial property and buildings including preparation of asset planning documentation, programming planned upgrades, managing unforeseen works and an ability to undertake research and analyse complex and technical information, providing sound advice to senior officers.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with collating, analysing and recording information associated with asset management of the buildings.
  • Well-developed communication (written and oral), interpersonal, representational and negotiation skills, including demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop a client focused team and foster a positive and productive working environment with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
