Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in the construction industry to take overall responsibility for onsite project planning, mobilisation, supervision, and the coordination of labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment. This position will be based onsite in Muswellbrook, commencing in early September and running through to December 2027.

The successful candidate will be a highly capable construction professional with demonstrated experience in civil and/or construction projects. They will have a proven ability to lead site teams, manage project risks, oversee financial performance, and ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of works in accordance with project objectives.

  • Lead and manage all onsite planning, mobilisation, supervision, and coordination of labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Oversee project to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
  • Apply and enforce project management methodology, governance, and reporting standards.
  • Coordinate construction, commissioning, and site activities in alignment with drawings, ITPs, and schedules.
  • Manage project financials including budgets, forecasting, cost-to-completion, margins, and risk.
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance to minimise commercial and schedule risk.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, site policies, and legislative obligations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Partner with Solutions Managers and clients to support stakeholder engagement and future business opportunities.

Technical Competencies & Skills

  • Proven experience in onsite civil and/or construction project management (essential).
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and site-based coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Sound commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and margins.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of site HSE systems and legislative compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, ERP systems).
  • Strong document control and governance capability.
