Virtualization Security Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud / Virtualization Security & Automation Engineer (AWS & DevOps) to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS core services, cloud security, and DevOps practices, along with strong troubleshooting capabilities across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, load balancing, and auto-scaling with a focus on high availability and cost optimization
• Configure and manage AWS Security Hub and integrate with services like GuardDuty, AWS Config, and Inspector to drive security compliance and remediation
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML-based pipelines) for automated deployments
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable and repeatable environments
• Build and optimize DevOps pipelines covering infrastructure, application deployment, testing, and rollback strategies
• Troubleshoot complex issues across AWS, Azure, and virtualized environments (VMware), including performance and security incidents
• Support disaster recovery planning, backups, failover strategies, and resilience testing
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with security standards and firewall policies
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes
• Support on-call rotations and handle escalations when required

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, networking (subnets, routing, NAT, security groups)
• Experience with AWS Security Hub and cloud security best practices
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline or similar)
• Knowledge of VPC architecture and virtual networking
• Experience with code scanning/security tools like SonarQube and Nexus IQ
