About The Role
The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, coordinating and delivering a comprehensive workforce training and capability program across all Carpentaria program areas, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Out of Home Care (OoHC), Intensive Therapeutic Residential Care (ITRC), Ready for Home (RFH), Day Programs (Pathways), Allied Health and remote community services. The role ensures all staff hold the knowledge, skills and verified competencies required to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred supports in compliance with NDIS.

You Will Also Posses
- Tertiary qualifications in education, training, human services, health or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) — or willingness to obtain within 12 months of commencement
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering staff training programs in a community services, disability, health or human services setting
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and relevant legislative framework
- Demonstrated ability to develop accessible, plain-language and culturally appropriate training materials for diverse workforces
