About The Role
This is a senior leadership role within the Commercial organisation, responsible for shaping and delivering commercial trade strategies that drive sustainable growth across ANZ. You will lead a high-performing team and work cross-functionally to embed category insights, customer priorities and brand ambitions into impactful commercial plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Lead the Commercial Strategy team to develop and execute commercial trade strategies across the ANZ business
- Drive the annual planning process, integrating brand, sales and revenue management initiatives into actionable commercial plans
- Develop channel and customer Go-to-Market strategies across all 4Ps and innovation launches
- Identify category growth opportunities and shape the innovation agenda
Commercial Planning & Execution
- Lead the delivery of Brand Commercial Plans and store execution playbooks
- Track performance against targets and drive interventions to improve execution and competitiveness
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver clear commercial diagnostics and growth initiatives
Category & Customer Strategy
- Develop long-term category strategies aligned to customer and business priorities
- Support Joint Business Planning, category reviews, NPD launches and range recommendations
- Deliver compelling category growth stories to external customers
Leadership & Capability
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 8 direct reports
- Build a high-performing, customer-centric culture focused on growth and execution excellence
- Drive capability development, prioritisation and team effectiveness across the function
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 12+ years’ experience across sales, commercial strategy, brand management or related commercial roles
- Strong senior sales leadership experience with proven cross-functional capability
- Demonstrated success developing and executing commercial growth strategies within FMCG
- Experience managing pharmacy accounts
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Commercially astute, strategic and execution-focused leader with a track record of building high-performing teams
