Supply Planner
Why this role? We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective flow of stock from suppliers into our distribution centres. You'll work closely with Merchandise Planning, Buying, Shipping and Suppliers to optimise inventory levels, manage purchase orders and support product availability across the business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing data, planning and stakeholder collaboration in a fast-moving retail environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Translating demand forecasts into effective supply and shipment plans
- Building and optimising shipping containers aligned to inventory and cost targets
- Raising and managing purchase orders through ERP systems
- Managing supplier communication to ensure on-time production and shipment
- Partnering with Shipping teams to track deliveries and resolve delays or discrepancies
- Supporting promotional activity, product launches and end-of-life planning
- Monitoring inventory levels, weeks of cover and stock flow into distribution centres
- Analysing supply chain data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities
- Participating in S&OP, Inventory Flow and Trade Performance meetings
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across supply planning processes
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience in supply planning, inventory management or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel capability and experience using ERP or planning systems
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, freight or inventory planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions
- Experience within retail, furniture or homewares highly regarded
- Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business desirable
