Concrete Field Tester – Hands-On Role (Melbourne)
Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking for a reliable, practical, hands-on worker to join our Southern Region Technical Team as a Concrete Field Tester, based at our Clarinda Technical Facility, in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
This is a great role if you enjoy working outdoors, using your hands, and being part of a supportive team. You’ll be trained to test concrete on job sites and in our NATA-accredited lab, helping our customers get the best results from our products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Testing concrete on site and in the lab
- Talking with customers and representing the company professionally
- Following safety rules and procedures at all times
- Keeping good records and helping maintain quality control
- Working closely with our sales and production teams to get jobs done right
What We’re Looking For
- Someone reliable, customer-focused, and switched on
- Safe work habits and a good attitude
- Comfortable following set procedures and paying attention to detail
- Attention to detail - reading, writing, and number skills
- A current driver’s licence
- Able to work independently once trained
- Willing to work weekends and regular overtime
No previous concrete testing experience? That’s okay, we’ll train the right person.
What You’ll Get
- Hourly rate from $30.93 + penalties + super (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday work, usually 6am–3pm (hours may change with workload)
- Regular Saturday work (around 3 out of 4 Saturdays per month)
