Yard Hand / Forklift Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Hand / Forklift Driver to join our clients busy operations team based in Seven Hills.

This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation with general yard duties, ensuring equipment is safely loaded, unloaded, stored, and prepared for customer orders.

About the Role

Working in a hire industry yard environment, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a 16T forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks with site sheds, generators, and associated equipment
• Moving equipment safely throughout the yard
• Preparing and picking temporary fencing orders
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard
• Assisting with general yard operations as required
• Conducting pre-start checks and adhering to safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Current LF forklift licence (essential)
• Experience operating large-capacity forklifts, preferably up to 16T
• Experience loading and unloading oversized or heavy equipment
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated attitude
• Physically fit and willing to assist with general yard duties

Hours

• Monday to Friday - 6:30am – 2:30pm
• Enjoy consistent weekday hours with your afternoons free.
