About The Role

We're looking for Biology Masters graduates and current students to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and your scientific expertise is exactly what's needed to push the boundaries of what AI can understand and reason about in biology.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your knowledge directly shapes the next generation of AI systems. No AI background required — just strong biology fundamentals and a sharp analytical mind.

What You'll Do

• Design advanced biology questions and problems to rigorously test AI performance
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-reasoned scientific logic
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
• Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics
• Provide structured, high-quality feedback that directly improves AI model behavior

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or holding a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
• Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving ability across advanced biology domains
• Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating information
• No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with molecular biology, genetics, physiology, or biotech applications
• Background in academic writing, tutoring, or scientific communication
