Project Manager - Copilot Rollout

Large-Scale Enterprise Environment | Major Digital Transformation Initiative

Aspirante is partnering with a large and complex organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to support a major Microsoft Copilot readiness and rollout initiative.

This is a newly created role, established to help drive the transition from pilot to production across a significant Microsoft 365 environment. The program has already completed an initial pilot with strong results and is now moving into the next phase of deployment, with a strong focus on governance, access controls, security and platform structure.

The Opportunity

You will lead the delivery oversight of a major Copilot implementation across a highly complex environment, helping prepare the organisation for enterprise-scale adoption.

The environment includes:

• Approx. 8,500 SharePoint sites, many currently without clear ownership or governance
• 16,000+ users with broad access across the environment
• A completed Copilot pilot with positive early outcomes
• Active vendor support, including Microsoft
• Union consultation currently underway, with rollout progressing shortly thereafter

This role will suit a Project Manager who is comfortable leading complex platform initiatives, driving governance uplift, and working across both business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project management of Copilot readiness and rollout
• Drive governance uplift across the SharePoint and broader M365 environment
• Define and implement access controls, data security and compliance measures
• Support the transition from pilot to production at enterprise scale
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Coordinate delivery across a cross-functional project team
• Manage risks, dependencies, timelines and implementation activities across the program

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly SharePoint, Purview and Copilot
• Proven ability to implement governance frameworks in complex environments
• Experience delivering large-scale platform, M365 or enterprise technology rollouts
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Confidence leading delivery across technical and business streams
• The ability to work through ambiguity and drive outcomes in a large-scale environment
• Proven capability to deliver in a complex enterprise setting.
