Program Support Officer to join a dynamic and high-performing project delivery team. About the Role

As a Program Support Officer, you will provide high-level administrative, records management, and project support services to project managers and team members. You will contribute to the efficient coordination and delivery of key programs and projects by ensuring accurate recordkeeping, maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures, and supporting a range of business and project administration activities. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse stakeholders, contribute to important project outcomes, and be part of a team focused on delivering services that make a meaningful impact across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and preparing responses to Right to Information (RTI) requests.
  • Capture and maintain records within the departmental Electronic Document and Records Management System (eDRMS).
  • Ensure the security, accuracy, classification, and management of electronic records.
  • Support regional staff by providing guidance on recordkeeping practices and procedures.
  • Apply records management principles, policies, and standards in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Manage inactive records and assist with records auditing activities.
  • Provide high-level administrative support and undertake additional duties as required.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working with Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (eDRMS).
  • Strong knowledge of records and information management processes and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, formatting, spelling, and grammar.
  • Well-developed written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
