Automation Test Analyst – API & UI Testing

Looking to break into the Australian market or secure your next automation contract? This is a fantastic opportunity for an Automation Test Analyst to join a high-performing banking program, working with modern testing tools and cloud-native environments. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on delivering high-quality integration and automation solutions across API and UI layers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated test scripts across API and UI layers
• Deliver strong integration test coverage using modern frameworks
• Containerise test environments using Docker
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve reliability, scalability and maintainability of test suites
• Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to embed quality early

Key Skills

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API automation
• API testing experience with Rest Assured, Supertest or Karate
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience with Git version control
• Exposure to Docker for containerisation
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments such as OpenShift or GKE
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Knowledge of API security standards such as OAuth2 and JWT is a plus

Nice to Have

• Cloud platform experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
