About The Role

Join PPS Group delivering major water, electrical, and infrastructure projects as a Senior Project Engineer for piping and civil.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you'll be part of a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed plans and schedules that outline scope, timelines, budgets and milestones
  • Manages project budgets, including developing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and forecasting future costs.
  • Assist in bidding phase and defines project scopes
  • Act as primary liaison between clients, vendors, contractors, internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
  • Monitors and reports on project progress

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or equivalent
  • Have significant experience in a leadership role within a civil construction and/or SMP environments
  • Knowledge of pumps, pipework, hydro testing, and civil earthworks
  • Experience in project engineering within water, mining, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience delivering EPC/EPCM scopes for clients such as BHP, FMG, or RioTinto
  • Experienced in vendor engagement, procurement, FATs, and technical evaluations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead Project Engineers and work alongside superintendents
  • Strong understanding of development, understanding, updating and communicating project schedules
  • Proven commercial capability, including real-time variation identification, dayworks management and active budget/forecast understanding
  • Skilled in technical queries, and documentation management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
