Planner

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Planner to join our client's team on a major road and structures infrastructure project in North Brisbane.

You will work closely with the Project Controls team, supporting project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring throughout the design and construction phases of a large-scale transport infrastructure project.

Main Duties

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
• Prepare schedule reports, forecasts, and progress updates for project stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and construction teams to coordinate project activities.
• Assist with resource planning and milestone tracking.
• Support project controls processes and schedule management.
• Update schedules to reflect project changes and communicate impacts to the wider team.
• Contribute to planning activities during both the design and delivery phases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in project planning, preferably within civil infrastructure, transport, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls and scheduling principles.
• Experience with planning software such as Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
