Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Private Tutor role located in Sydney, NSW. As a Private Tutor, you will deliver customized and engaging lessons to K-12 students in a variety of subjects. Your responsibilities will include assessing individual student needs, preparing lesson plans, conducting sessions either at students’ homes or at designated locations, and providing detailed feedback on student progress. Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure student success is also an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and teaching ability in core K-12 subjects (e.g., Math, English, Science, and Humanities).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and build rapport.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, academic assessment, and delivering tailored educational strategies.
• Experience with technology and online tutoring platforms is advantageous but not essential.
• Patience, reliability, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
• Relevant teaching experience or a degree in Education, a specific subject area, or a related field.
• Ability to work in-person in Sydney, NSW, and meet the necessary legal requirements to work with children.
