About The Role

Join a high-impact leadership role at the forefront of rail safety and security. As the Manager, Quality Assurance within the Security Services Branch, you will lead a specialised team responsible for ensuring incident reporting, operational practices and governance frameworks meet rigorous standards.

This role is central to strengthening accountability, compliance and continuous improvement across security operations, while maintaining alignment with legislative requirements, internal policies and best practice. You will also oversee critical compliance areas, including the Body Worn Camera framework, ensuring its effective and appropriate use in frontline security environments.

Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will provide strategic advice, high-level project support and operational oversight to enhance safety outcomes for passengers and customers across the rail network. You will take ownership of the Branch’s Use of Force policies, procedures and review framework, prepare detailed post-incident reports and evidence, and advise on appropriate actions arising from reviews.

With responsibility for leading quality management improvements, undertaking targeted research projects and representing the Branch in key stakeholder forums, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to influence operational excellence and contribute to a safe, secure and customer-focused transport system.
