The role

You’ll work across a mix of transport, traffic and development engineering, including:

  • Reviewing development and subdivision applications
  • Providing technical advice to stakeholders and the community
  • Investigating traffic, parking and development enquiries
  • Supporting transport planning and improvement projects
  • Contributing to reports, recommendations and grant initiatives

No two days are the same, this is a hands-on role where your input genuinely matters.

About you

You’re a practical, solutions-focused engineer who enjoys variety and working with people. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Civil Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) is a must
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • Experience in local government (preferred), transport, traffic or development engineering
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • Experience reviewing development or subdivision applications
  • Exposure to traffic management or transport planning
  • Experience working with developers, contractors or community stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant WA legislation and approvals processes
