The role
You’ll work across a mix of transport, traffic and development engineering, including:
- Reviewing development and subdivision applications
- Providing technical advice to stakeholders and the community
- Investigating traffic, parking and development enquiries
- Supporting transport planning and improvement projects
- Contributing to reports, recommendations and grant initiatives
No two days are the same, this is a hands-on role where your input genuinely matters.
About you
You’re a practical, solutions-focused engineer who enjoys variety and working with people. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A Civil Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) is a must
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Experience in local government (preferred), transport, traffic or development engineering
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
- Experience reviewing development or subdivision applications
- Exposure to traffic management or transport planning
- Experience working with developers, contractors or community stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant WA legislation and approvals processes
