WSP’s Building Services team in Melbourne is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and highly collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver mechanical design across a diverse portfolio of projects, including major commercial developments, infrastructure, and emerging sectors such as data centres.

The role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of project delivery while supporting the development of junior engineers and contributing to client relationships.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Leading mechanical design for HVAC and building systems
  • Managing projects from concept through to delivery
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across Property & Buildings
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to drive project outcomes
  • Mentoring and supporting engineers within the team

About you

  • Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience within building services consultancy
  • Proven capability in HVAC design and relevant Australian standards
  • Ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients
  • A collaborative approach and interest in mentoring others
