The CCF is the peak Australian industry body for the civil construction industry, serving over 2,000 members through offices in every state and territory providing advocacy, information, and networking opportunities to members.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Events & Marketing Assistant to join CCF WA’s dynamic and professional team based in the southern suburbs of Perth. This position will suit a flexible and energetic person who enjoys using their skills to achieve a wide variety of tasks daily.

The salary range for this role is A$55,000/yr - A$65,000/yr based on experience, with opportunities to advance in future. The role is advertised as 1.0 FTE however an alternative arrangement (e.g. 0.8) will be considered for the right applicant.

Responsibilities

  • CCF WA marketing activities including social media, website, event promotion, member e-newsletters, and the CCF WA Bulletin magazine.
  • Assist in designing and writing content for all of the above marketing channels
  • Maintain CCF WA’s customer relationship management (CRM) database
  • Assist the Events Team with all facets of event planning and delivery of scheduled events.
  • Coordinate event day requirements such as guest registrations, table programs, and branded event collateral.
  • Provide general member services and administrative support as required.
  • Other duties as required, which include but are not limited to; telephone answering, visitor greeting, assisting with keeping common areas tidy.

Desirable skills:

  • Marketing degree or similar qualification
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Design skills and/or experience using Adobe apps including InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere and Photoshop
