Digital Support Officer

We are seeking an APS6 Digital Support Officer to work within a federal government agency, supporting business process automation and reporting.
In this role you will work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into simple, effective digital solutions, focusing on configuration, automation, and continuous improvement.
You will be required to engage with business users to understand current processes and pain points, gather and document functional requirements and recommend practical digital solutions using enterprise tools. You will also design, build, and maintain business automation solutions using tools such as SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI.
Other responsibilities will include;
- Manage backlog and implement improvements to existing digital solutions and workflows
- Ensure solutions follow organisational standards and are easy for users to adopt
- Provide user training, basic user support, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with internal IT teams where required
We are seeking candidates with practical experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online/Microsoft Power Platform, an understanding of basic data modelling and reporting concepts and an ability to work directly with non-technical users and translate business needs into digital solutions.
Experience in government environments and with information management, and information security would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
