- ASX-listed property developer, Brisbane, hybrid, newly created role
- Modelling, dashboards, systems integration, AI-enabled reporting
- 3-5 yrs analytics or finance, Power BI, modelling, tech-confident
The Opportunity
Cadence Connect is partnering with an ASX-listed property developer to appoint a newly created Financial Analyst into a small, high-impact reporting and analytics function in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Group Reporting and Analytics Manager, you will join a lean team carrying mission-critical deliverables across financial, operational, development and workforce reporting. The role exists because the function has more decision-grade work than two people can deliver.
The business needs someone who can model, build reporting from the ground up, and partner across finance, operations and systems. This is hands-on, high-ownership work with rare exposure to a complex, multi-site business at a genuine inflection point.
What You Will Do
You will work alongside the Group Reporting and Analytics Manager as a true number two, owning a mix of modelling, reporting design, systems integration and stakeholder partnering across the group.
- Design dashboards and automated reports across Jedox, Power BI, Tableau and Business Central
- Deliver monthly financial reporting with clear performance narratives for finance, leadership and the Board
- Build operations reporting connecting occupancy, workforce and service data into actionable insights
- Develop reporting on the development pipeline, project performance and capital deployment
- Partner with People and Culture on workforce reporting across rostering, payroll, headcount and engagement
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting acquisitions, divestments, portfolio optimisation and scenario analysis
- Drive systems and data integration projects, working with IT and business teams to create reliable, scalable reporting
- Lead automation initiatives, including the use of AI tools to deliver tangible efficiency gains
- Mentor junior analysts and uplift business-wide capability on reporting tools and dashboards
Who You Are
You're an analytically sharp, commercially curious operator who is genuinely comfortable in imperfect data environments. You can model, build the dashboard, and tell the story behind the numbers. You move with pace, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, and you thrive on building things from the ground up.
- 3-5 years of analytics, finance or business intelligence experience with strong stakeholder engagement
- Tertiary qualified in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related
- Strong financial modelling capability, demonstrable through tangible examples
- Power BI, Tableau, Excel and Jedox or comparable EPM tooling
- ERP exposure, ideally Microsoft Business Central, with data integration project experience
- SQL and/or Python a bonus
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude to drive measurable efficiency gains
- A confident communicator who can translate technical findings for operational leaders
The Offer
What's on offer is the opportunity to join a listed business at a genuine inflection point, with a newly created role, real autonomy, and visible impact on how the business plans, reports and makes decisions.
You'll work with leadership that came from a data and systems background and genuinely values the craft. A highly attractive remuneration package will be discussed with shortlisted candidates, structured around hybrid working and experience.
