Payroll Officer

About The Role

This is a permanent, full-time Payroll Officer position sitting within a small and stable finance team at a well-established organisation. You'll work closely with the Payroll Manager to own end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 51 employees. The organisation is fully office-based, with free parking on site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 51 staff using MYOB and Employment Hero
• Managing payroll data, variations, timesheets, and entitlements
• Reconciling payroll and superannuation obligations
• Administering direct debit payments for membership contributions via Fat Zebra
• Following up on failed or bounced direct debit transactions with members directly
• Supporting the Payroll Manager with compliance, reporting, and ad hoc queries

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in payroll administration, end-to-end is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working with MYOB or a similar payroll platform
• Accurate, organised, and professional
