About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Australian accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in Australia. Your recordings will help AI systems better understand real, natural human speech — making technology more accurate and human for everyone.

• Note: This project does not involve voice cloning

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational Australian English speech in a professional studio environment
• Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
• Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue that feels unscripted and authentic
• Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery across different scenarios
• Bring energy, professionalism, and consistency across multiple sessions

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with hands-on recording experience
• A native or near-native Australian English speaker with a natural, authentic accent
• Comfortable performing natural conversation and dialogue — not just scripted reads
• Reliable, punctual, and receptive to creative direction
• Able to commit to multiple scheduled recording sessions

Requirements

• Voice acting or voice-over experience (professional or semi-professional)
• Native or near-native Australian English accent
• Currently based in Australia
• Fluent English communication skills
• Comfortable recording natural, unscripted-sounding dialogue

Nice to Have

• Background in acting, performance, or theatre
• Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or commercial voice work
• Prior studio recording experience in a professional environment
