SUMMARY - Produce and install all types of high-quality signage, including vinyl application and on-site installations. Handle prospects and customers in a courteous and professional manner. Demonstrate a professional image of the Signarama brand at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Assessment: Evaluate installation sites to ensure proper fitting and positioning of signage, making adjustments as necessary for optimal visibility and durability.
• Production Technical Proficiency: Efficiently operate production equipment such as laminators, plotters, panel saws, and trimmers.

• Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates.
• Print, mount, trim and finish various digital graphics and signage.
• Must be able to use an X-Acto knife, tape measure, ruler, and production tools efficiently.
• Properly load and use a cold pressure laminator following standard safety procedures.
• Load and cut vinyl on a plotter.
• Load media, inks and generate quality prints from digital print equipment.
• Move raw materials, sheets and roll goods for manufacturing.
• Operate a vertical panel saw using standard safety procedures.
• Installation Technical Excellence: Safely and accurately install a variety of signage, from window graphics to large exterior signs, ensuring each meets our high standards and client expectations.

• Utilize and maintain tools and equipment required for proper installation, including ladders, drills, and other hand tools.
• Customer Interaction: Work directly with clients during installations, providing professional service experience and addressing any onsite concerns.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the design and production teams to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
• Maintenance and Organization: Keep equipment in top condition and maintain a neat workspace.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure seamless production processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in sign production and installation or a related construction field. Wrap certifications preferred but not required
• Problem-solving ability and out-of-the-box thinking
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Comfortable with computers and eager to learn new design and POS software
• Strong mathematical and spelling skills
• Proficiently use measurement tools
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Prompt, reliable and responsible
• Ability to work as a team

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit to handle manual tasks including lifting over 50 lbs
• Climb a ladder while lifting signs
• Must be able to retrieve various types of substates from substrates rack including the upper shelves.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
