Distribution Planning Specialist

As a Distribution Planning Specialist, you’ll play an integral role in turning strategy into action by translating priorities into structured initiatives and working across the end to end Distribution business. You will ensure activity drives the right outcome, the business stays aligned and accountable to its key priorities, and performance is understood.
You’ll work across multiple teams and stakeholders to support the prioritisation and delivery of key programs, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. This role offers broad exposure across Distribution in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
This is a 6-month max term full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia.
What You’ll Do
- Support the development of the Distribution business plan and translate priorities into structured initiatives and disciplined execution
- Create and maintain a clear view of key programs and performance, ensuring delivery milestones and outcomes are tracked across commercial and customer activities
- Contribute to business planning and performance reporting cycles
- Track initiative progress and support delivery of financial, customer and operational outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution across Distribution
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in business planning or strategy execution roles, preferably within insurance or financial services
- Ability to translate strategy into clear, structured plans and performance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
- Sound commercial, financial and customer acumen, with confidence working with data and performance metrics
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior audiences
- A proactive, organised mindset with a focus on delivery and outcomes
