As we continue to evolve how we connect with our audiences, we're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the next chapter of audience engagement across our owned channels.

Working across Editorial, Product and Commercial, you'll shape how millions of culture seekers experience Urban List — designing smarter, more personalised audience journeys that drive engagement, loyalty and commercial impact.

This is a rare opportunity to build and optimise the systems, journeys and experiences that connect audiences with our content, products and partners. You'll combine audience insight, technology, creativity and experimentation to create meaningful relationships at scale and help unlock the full value of our audience ecosystem.

The Gig

You'll play a key role in shaping how audiences engage with Urban List — creating personalised experiences that deepen engagement, strengthen loyalty and unlock long-term value for both our audience and our business.

Audience Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Design and optimise personalised audience journeys that drive engagement, loyalty and long-term value.
  • Lead the evolution of Urban List's audience engagement strategy across email and other owned channels.

Customer Engagement Platform & Personalisation

  • Own and optimise our customer engagement platform, building automated campaigns, journeys and audience segmentation strategies.
  • Turn audience insight into tailored experiences that help people discover more of what they love.

Commercial Impact & Optimisation

  • Partner with Editorial, Product and Commercial teams to unlock audience value and support business growth.
  • Run a continuous test-and-learn program, using data and experimentation to improve performance and outcomes.

Content & Brand Experience

  • Create lifecycle communications that feel unmistakably Urban List.
  • Ensure every audience touchpoint delivers value while staying true to our voice and brand.

Your Experience & Capabilities

You'll likely bring:

  • Proven experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, customer engagement, audience growth or related disciplines.
  • Hands-on experience with customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar, including automation, journey building and audience segmentation.
  • A track record of using audience data and insights to drive engagement, retention, loyalty and growth.
  • Strong analytical, commercial and communication skills, with the ability to turn insights into action and create compelling audience experiences.
  • Confidence partnering with Product, Editorial, Commercial and Technology teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Technical curiosity, an experimental mindset and a passion for continuously improving how audiences engage with brands.

Bonus points if you've worked in media, publishing, marketplace or consumer digital businesses.
