Systems Manager - HSEQ

A well-established and growing national contractor is seeking an experienced Systems Manager to lead and enhance its integrated HSEQ management systems across a diverse construction and infrastructure project portfolio.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring systems are aligned with legislative requirements, ISO standards, and industry frameworks, while driving continuous improvement, audit performance, and operational excellence across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of integrated HSEQ systems and frameworks
- Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditation standards, and industry requirements
- Manage and lead internal and external audits, including non-conformances and corrective actions
- Drive risk management, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Monitor system performance and report on KPIs and trends
- Support training, capability development, and system adoption across teams
- Work closely with operational teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
About You
- Proven experience in systems management within construction or infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of HSEQ systems, ISO standards, and FSC accreditation (essential)
- Experience leading audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid understanding of Australian legislation and industry standards
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
