I am seeking 5 x APS4 Administration officers to join a Federal Government Agency dedicated to supporting Australia’s veteran and defence community. This organisation plays a vital role in delivering care, wellbeing, and support services, and is known for its inclusive, flexible, and people-focused workplace culture.

Your new role

As an APS4 Administration Officer, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations within a clinical service environment. You’ll assist with both general administrative work and support the rollout of a new case management system.

This is a fast-paced, team-based role where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders, helping ensure smooth service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing inbound calls and acting as a first point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Responding to enquiries (administrative, access, and technical)
  • Booking and managing appointments and handling online enquiries
  • Completing general administrative tasks and overflow work
  • Maintaining accurate records, data entry, and updating client information
  • Working across multiple systems to manage client data efficiently
  • Supporting learning and development activities and assisting with training delivery

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for candidates who are proactive, organised, and confident to work in a busy environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using multiple IT systems (Salesforce experience highly regarded)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Experience supporting clinical or service delivery teams (desirable)
  • Experience within a Federal Government setting, preferably within health.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Mandatory requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children or Vulnerable People check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
  • Obtaining a Baseline Clearance is highly desirable.
