What You Will Do

As senior prison officer (CVIU), you will support intelligence work across Corrections Victoria.

You will help collect, analyse and share information that supports prison safety and offender management.

You Will

  • collect, collate and share intelligence information to support decision making
  • prepare clear reports and briefings on threats, patterns and emerging issues
  • support intelligence-led operations across prisons and community facilities
  • provide technical advice and help improve intelligence systems and processes
  • work with internal teams and external agencies to support prison security and community safety.

About You

You must be an Australian citizen and either hold, or be able to obtain, a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance. You must also have completed Victorian Prison Officer Pre-Service training, or equivalent training in another jurisdiction.

You Should Also Have

  • knowledge of intelligence practices and the correctional system
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • the ability to build productive working relationships and communicate clearly
  • experience using computer systems and information management tools.
