WSP Services Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Fuel fitters/Fuel system installers to join our growing team in NSW.

The Fuel System Installation Fitter is responsible for the installation,

modification, testing, and commissioning of fuel storage and

dispensing systems across retail, commercial, and industrial fuel facilities.

This role requires a strong understanding of fuel infrastructure, mechanical

systems, civil construction, hazardous area requirements, and industry regulations to ensure all

works are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Install underground and aboveground fuel storage tanks, pipework, dispensers, pumps,

and associated fuel system equipment.

· Undertake fuel system upgrades, replacements, and remediation works.

· Perform pressure testing, leak detection, integrity testing, and commissioning

activities.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, site plans, hazardous area drawings, and

technical specifications.

· Coordinate with project managers, electricians, contractors, and site representatives to

ensure efficient project delivery.

· Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Dangerous Goods regulations,

environmental requirements, and site-specific safety procedures.

· Complete quality assurance documentation, service reports, and installation records.

· Participate in site inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and emergency repair

activities.

· Maintain a strong commitment to safety, environmental protection, and customer service.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience in fuel system installation, maintenance, or petroleum

infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of fuel storage and dispensing systems, pumps, tanks, pipework, and associated

equipment.

Experience working within hazardous areas and understanding of relevant Australian

Standards. WPCG accredited.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Construction Industry White Card and relevant trade qualifications.

Current driver's licence.

Ability to travel and work across multiple sites/states as required.

Use of Procore and Hammertech.

Desirable Qualifications

Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Confined Space Entry certification.

Working at Heights certification.

First Aid certification.

Dangerous Goods and hazardous area experience.

Fuel industry experience within retail, commercial, aviation, or bulk fuel sectors.
