Urban List is entering an exciting new chapter. We're creating new ways for culture seekers to connect more deeply with the places, experiences and communities they love and we're looking for a Membership & Subscriptions Manager to help bring that vision to life.
This is a rare opportunity to build and grow a membership program from the ground up while helping shape new products for venues and businesses that sit alongside it.
Working across Editorial, Commercial, Product and Technology, you'll own everything from the member proposition and partner experience through to the operational systems that keep it all running smoothly.
Part curator, part operator, part relationship-builder, you'll help create experiences, offers and partnerships that feel unmistakably Urban List while building the foundations for long-term growth.

The Gig
You'll play a key role in building experiences, partnerships and products that create meaningful value for both our audiences and our business.
Membership Program & Experience
- Own and evolve Urban List's membership program, helping shape the proposition, perks and overall member experience.
- Curate offers, experiences, competitions and benefits that feel genuinely valuable and uniquely Urban List.
Partnerships & Growth
- Identify, secure and manage partners that enhance the member experience and strengthen the program's value.
- Work closely with Commercial teams to create mutually beneficial opportunities that drive growth and engagement.
Operations & Platform Management
- Build and optimise the systems, workflows and processes that support membership and subscription products as they scale.
- Oversee key operational moments including onboarding, renewals, fulfilment, member support and quality assurance.
Venue & Business Success
- Support venues and businesses using Urban List products, helping them maximise value and maintain high-quality listings and experiences.
- Champion platform adoption and identify opportunities to improve the experience for both partners and users.
Performance & Optimisation
- Monitor program performance, member engagement and commercial outcomes, turning insights into action.
- Partner with Product, Technology and Audience teams to continuously improve the member and partner experience.
Your Experience & Capabilities
You'll likely bring:
- Experience in membership, subscriptions, loyalty, partnerships, customer success, account management or related disciplines.
- A track record of building relationships and creating experiences that deliver value for customers, members or partners.
- Strong operational skills, with the ability to build scalable processes and manage multiple moving parts.
- Commercial confidence and an understanding of how growth, retention and customer value work together.
- Experience working with subscription, CRM or customer-facing platforms and systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take ownership and turn ideas into reality.
Bonus points if you've worked in media, hospitality, experiences, marketplaces, membership organisations or loyalty programs.
