Are you a Senior Architect with extensive experience delivering large-scale multi-residential projects and looking to join one of Australia's most respected design practices in Melbourne?

With a diverse portfolio spanning residential, mixed-use, retail, commercial, hospitality and urban design, the studio is recognised for producing thoughtful, commercially successful projects backed by strong technical delivery.

Their Melbourne team continues to secure significant residential work with some of Australia's leading developers and is looking to strengthen its senior leadership capability as the project pipeline continues to grow.

THE ROLE

The team is seeking a Senior Architect with 10+ years post-graduate experience and a proven background delivering large-scale multi-residential projects within Australia.

This role will suit an all-rounder. Someone who enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle, but most importantly can confidently lead the delivery of complex Class 2 developments. You will be comfortable managing consultants, liaising directly with clients and developers, overseeing documentation teams and navigating projects through construction.

You will have the support of a national practice behind you while maintaining ownership of your projects locally within the Melbourne studio.

Up to $135,000 + Super (depending on experience)

TYPICAL DAY

• Lead the delivery of large-scale multi-residential developments from design development through to completion
• Coordinate consultants, clients, authorities and internal project teams
• Oversee documentation and technical delivery using Revit
• Apply your understanding of the ADG, Aust. Standards, BCA and all Class 2 requirements
• Attend client, consultant and contractor meetings throughout project delivery
• Mentor Architects and Graduates within the team
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues as projects progress

REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)
• Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong experience delivering large-scale Class 2 multi-residential projects in Australia (ESSENTIAL)
• Intermediate Revit skills (ESSENTIAL)
• Demonstrated experience leading consultant coordination and project delivery (ESSENTIAL)
• Registered Architect highly regarded (PREFERRED)
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (ESSENTIAL)
