Events & Social Media Coordinator

Our client is looking for a creative, proactive Events & Social Media Coordinator to help bring our events to life and showcase them online.
This is a flexible ~10 hours per week role, ideal for someone who thrives in a social, fast-paced environment and enjoys both planning experiences and creating engaging content.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll play a key role across both events and digital - helping source entertainment, support event execution, and create content that captures the energy of what we do.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Events
- Research and book entertainment (DJs, performers, activations)
- Liaise with talent, suppliers, and partners
- Assist in planning and coordinating events
- Attend events as needed to help with execution
Social Media
- Plan and create content (posts, reels, stories)
- Capture live event content
- Schedule and publish posts
- Engage with our audience (comments, messages)
- Track performance and suggest improvements
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in social media, events, or marketing
- Confident creating content (photo/video + captions)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Available for occasional evening/weekend event coverage
- Bonus: connections in the local entertainment/events scene

REMUNERATION
- Approx. 10 hours per week
- $35–$50 per hour (depending on experience)
- or flexible retainer arrangement (commission opportunities)
