About the Role

As the Product Strategy Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of HBF's product portfolio. Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you'll design and evolve products and propositions that meet member needs while supporting long-term strategic goals. This is a highly collaborative and forward-looking role, where you'll turn complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations and drive initiatives from concept through to delivery.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for new products, product and pricing changes and other portfolio initiatives
  • Lead the design and development of integrated product propositions, working with stakeholders across the business
  • Conduct product and performance analysis, delivering actionable insights to optimise portfolio performance
  • Research and analyse market trends, member behaviour and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and drive future strategy
  • Influence senior stakeholders and governance forums to gain endorsement and drive outcomes

This position is based in Perth on a permanent full-time basis.

About You

You're a commercially minded and strategic thinker who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment. With strong analytical capability and excellent communication skills, you're able to translate data into meaningful insights and influence decision-making at a senior level. You enjoy working collaboratively, bringing people together to deliver innovative solutions that improve performance and member outcomes.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, economics, data analytics or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in product, portfolio or strategy roles within a regulated environment (e.g. insurance or financial services)
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing senior leaders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
