About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Squiz Content Coordinator to support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of a large-scale public-facing website within a Queensland Government environment.

This role will be responsible for updating, configuring and maintaining content within Squiz DXP, ensuring digital content is accurate, accessible, user-focused and aligned with governance standards. Working closely with digital, communications and project teams, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality online experience through effective content management and website administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Squiz specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across high-volume content migration, publishing and optimisation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload, edit, format and publish web content using Squiz DXP in accordance with established templates, components and governance processes.
  • Execute high-volume content population activities using supplied copy, images, documents and digital assets.
  • Configure and maintain DXP elements including forms, menus, redirects, search settings and content structures.
  • Apply appropriate metadata, taxonomy, tagging and categorisation to ensure content is structured, searchable and aligned with information architecture standards.
  • Perform quality assurance activities, including content validation, link checking, accessibility reviews and publishing readiness assessments.
  • Collaborate with digital, communications, UX and project teams to deliver content updates within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure all content complies with organisational standards, branding guidelines and accessibility requirements.
  • Liaise with content owners and stakeholders to confirm content accuracy and readiness for publication.
  • Support continuous improvement of website content and user experience through adherence to digital best practices.

Highly Desirable Criteria

  • Proven experience working as a Squiz DXP Content Author, Content Coordinator or Content Editor.
  • Strong hands-on experience uploading, editing and publishing content within Squiz DXP.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale website projects involving significant content population and migration activities.
  • High-level knowledge of Squiz DXP configuration, including forms, menus, redirects and search functionality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with experience applying metadata, taxonomy and structured content principles.
  • Strong understanding of web content governance, accessibility standards and digital publishing best practices.
  • Experience working collaboratively with digital, communications and project delivery teams in complex environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of Queensland Government web writing standards and style guides.
  • Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
  • Understanding of information architecture and user-centred content design principles.
  • Familiarity with website quality assurance processes and content governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting website redevelopment, migration or digital transformation initiatives.
