JOB TITLE: Tour Financial Officer
JOB TYPE: Part-Time
LOCATION: West Melbourne (MUST BE BASED IN MELBOURNE)
David Roy Williams Entertainment (DRW) is seeking a Tour Financial Officer to support the financial operations of the business across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting end-to-end accounting processes across the business.
This role is suited to a highly detail-oriented accounting professional with strong reconciliation experience, capable of working across high-volume data environments while meeting strict reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities Include
Accounts & Reconciliations
- Prepare bank, merchant, and POS reconciliations at month end
- Analyse AR and AP ledgers, resolve unreconciled items, and support account collections
- Support credit processes and ensure alignment with internal policy requirements
- Prepare and issue invoices
- Complete tour reconciliations
- Process and maintain royalty statements
- Create and track merchandise settlements and splits
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and support adherence to statutory accounting requirements.
Month-End & Reporting
- Support Managing Director with month-end close activities
- Assist in generating management reports and financial analysis
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure system integrity
- Proactively identify and support improvements to financial processes and systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial workflows across departments
About You
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a comparable accounting, bookkeeping, or finance role
- Degree qualified or working towards CA/CPA (highly regarded)
- Proven experience working with XERO
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- High level of numeracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail
- Confident working with high volumes of financial data
- Strong communication skills when dealing with internal stakeholders and debtors
- Highly organised with strong time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Diligent, efficient, and proactive in improving systems and processes
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general financial systems literacy
