Senior Associate

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our growing team.

About the Role

You will work closely with our team and advise a diverse client base across the NFP, private and public sectors on a broad range of employment, industrial and workplace safety matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising and representing clients in State and Federal employment, discrimination and industrial jurisdictions.
• Advising on employment contracts, executive employment matters, restraint of trade issues and workplace disputes.
• Conducting workplace investigations and advising on disciplinary, performance management and compliance matters.
• Advising on workplace safety obligations and incident response.
• Drafting employment contracts, executive service agreements, workplace policies and contractor agreements.
• Advising on restructures, redundancies, mergers and acquisitions.
• Managing matters autonomously and mentoring junior lawyers.

About You

You will have:

• At least 3 years' post-admission experience in employment law, with workplace safety experience highly regarded.
• Strong drafting, communication and analytical skills.
• A practical, commercial approach to client service.
• The ability to manage matters independently and build strong client relationships.
