Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your expertise in healthcare analytics could directly influence how AI understands and interprets clinical data for millions of patients and providers? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead BI teams, architect data solutions, and translate complex healthcare data into insights that matter — all while contributing to cutting-edge AI development.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for experienced healthcare analytics professionals who want meaningful, high-impact work on their own terms.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance data to surface meaningful trends and support leadership decisions
  • Translate complex, multi-source healthcare data into clear, trusted insights that drive care delivery improvements and organizational efficiency
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across regulated healthcare datasets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics output with real-world clinical and operational priorities

Who You Are

  • Seasoned professional with strong experience in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or health data management
  • Proven ability to design, build, and manage BI systems — including dashboards, reporting pipelines, and data models
  • Experienced working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated healthcare environments
  • Confident leader who can guide technical teams while communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and systematic — you build for accuracy, not just speed
  • Self-directed and comfortable delivering independently in a remote, asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) are trained or evaluated
  • Background in healthcare informatics, clinical data standards (HL7, FHIR), or EHR systems
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, dbt, or similar platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work at the intersection of healthcare analytics and frontier AI research
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life
  • Freelance autonomy with the substance of serious, meaningful work
  • Contribute to AI systems that have real-world implications for how clinical data is understood at scale
  • Collaborate with world-class AI research teams and labs
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
