Overview

We have an opportunity at Subsea7 for a Lead Logistics & Chartering to join our Perth, Australia office and play a pivotal role in delivering complex offshore energy projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. In this permanent, full-time position, you’ll lead the coordination of critical logistics and marine chartering activities, partnering with regional and functional leaders to drive efficient, safe, and cost-effective project execution. This is a unique opportunity to shape supply chain strategy, influence high-value tenders, and contribute to world-class subsea projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking global organisation.

What will you be doing?

  • Delegated line manager responsibility for part of the Logistics and Chartering teams.
  • Support resource planning to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support ongoing Logistics and Chartering activities on projects and tenders.
  • Contribute to effective communications and network with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to implementation of continuous improvement of work processes and procedures
  • Represent SCM Logistic and Chartering in nominated internal and external meetings.
  • Support daily Logistics and Chartering activities on ongoing Projects and Tenders.
  • Understand specific requirements for the country where project or tender activity will take place.
  • Support Logistics and Chartering budgets, ensure costs are tracked during the Projects and communicate budget versus actual during project.
  • Compliance with customs and local laws at origin and destination locations.
  • Promote HSE leadership and ensure all Logistics activities are properly assessed and performed in safe manner.
  • Ensure all activities is performed in accordance with Subsea 7 values.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Relevant previous experience in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Logistics on large Projects.
  • Previous experience working with BIMCO charter parties most specifically Supply Time, Heavycon, Bargehire and GENCON.
  • Relevant experience in similar position with owner, broker or working for charterer.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Structured and organised with good attention to details.
  • Strong integrity and focused on ethical behaviour.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communications skills.
