Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your expertise in clinical analytics could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about healthcare data? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics work that sits at the intersection of healthcare and cutting-edge AI development.

You'll guide the design and delivery of BI systems, dashboards, and clinical data models that translate complex healthcare datasets into clear, actionable insights — work that has real consequences for how AI learns to reason in high-stakes medical and operational contexts.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior healthcare data professionals who want meaningful, high-impact work on their own terms.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance datasets to surface trends, support leadership decisions, and improve care delivery outcomes
  • Evaluate and validate the quality of healthcare data used in AI training contexts, ensuring analytical outputs are trustworthy and defensible
  • Collaborate across teams to translate complex clinical data into structured insights accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Who You Are

  • Experienced in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or data management in regulated environments
  • Proven ability to design, manage, and scale BI systems — including dashboards, reporting pipelines, and data models
  • Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets typical of healthcare organizations
  • Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between raw data and real-world decisions
  • Self-directed and reliable when working independently in a remote, async environment

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with AI training workflows or large language model development
  • Background working alongside AI research teams or in health informatics
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects in partnership with leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and async-friendly — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure and purpose of high-impact, meaningful work
  • Bring your clinical data expertise to a domain that's shaping the future of AI in healthcare
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
