With an established presence across Victoria and Tasmania, and growing services in Queensland, we’re growing our Mental Health team and are looking for an Experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist across Melbourne-wide, with a focus on Bayside, Mornington Peninsula, and North & Eastern suburbs who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting clients.

The Role – Mental Health Occupational Therapist
In this dynamic role, you will manage your own caseload within our Mental Health stream Melbourne-wide, with a focus on Bayside, Mornington Peninsula, and North & Eastern suburbs supporting clients in community settings to achieve functional and recovery-focused outcomes. You’ll have access to strong clinical support, resources, and a collaborative team environment to help you thrive.
Your Week Will Typically Include
- Managing your own caseload across NDIS, Aged Care, TAC and private sectors
- Working with psychosocial disability, inclusive of neurodiverse participants; conducting functional assessments and participant focused occupational therapy interventions
- Completing home modification and assistive technology assessments (as required)
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans aligned to client goals
- Writing high-quality reports and maintaining accurate case notes
- Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and care planning
- Working flexibly across community, office, and work-from-home settings
In This Role, You Will
- Support clients to achieve meaningful, functional, and recovery-oriented outcomes
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Develop clear, compliant reports aligned with NDIS and organisational standards
- Collaborate with families, carers, and stakeholders for holistic client care
- Engage in ongoing learning through supervision, mentoring, and professional development
- Contribute to quality improvement and support the development of others where appropriate
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (minimum a degree)
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within mental health, or a strong interest in building clinical skills in this area of practice
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
Desirable
- Experience within the NDIS
- Knowledge of functional capacity assessments, assistive technology, or home modifications
