We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level clinical rigor to cutting-edge AI development. You'll work with leading AI research teams to ensure that the clinical data powering next-generation AI systems meets the same standards expected in real-world regulatory submissions.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced clinical scientists who want to do meaningful work on their own terms.

What You'll Do

• Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready datasets for AI training
• Interpret and audit clinical trial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and alignment with regulatory expectations
• Identify gaps in how AI models reason about clinical outcomes and provide expert corrective feedback
• Help establish quality standards for clinical data used across AI research workflows
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Senior-level clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing protocols for regulatory submission
• Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for agencies such as the FDA, EMA, or equivalent regulatory bodies
• Strong grounding in clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
• Naturally rigorous — you hold clinical data to the highest standards of accuracy and consistency
• Clear communicator who can translate complex clinical concepts into structured, actionable feedback

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, or clinical operations
• Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning systems in a biomedical context
• Experience contributing to cross-functional or distributed research teams
